What an amazing article, I always like to read others’ thoughts on how they prioritize what gets automated, but I really love how you’ve made a point to call out the importance of staying lean by focusing only on the high-value tests. As someone who works in an automation code base supporting thousands of tests, I’m constantly looking for ways to “trim the fat” so we can stay focused only on the highest-value tests.
